What is "XactPAY"?

"XactPAY" is The Hartford's integrated payment service that offers a unique and hassle-free approach to paying for Workers' Compensation insurance.  Rather than paying for insurance up to a year in advance and tying up vital cash, premiums are paid throughout the year ... one payroll period at a time.

With "XactPAY" You Can:

How "XactPAY" Works:

• You enroll in our payroll service
• You apply for Workers' Compensation insurance coverage through The Hartford and (upon issuance of a Hartford Workers' Compensation insurance policy) enroll in The Hartford's "XactPAY" service (we assist you with this process)
• We send your total and adjusted payroll information directly to The Hartford each payroll period
• "XactPAY" then calculates your policy premium based on the payroll processed for that payroll period
• The Hartford (at your option) notifies you of each expected withdrawal to be made from your bank account
• The Hartford draws your premium from your account based on your actual payroll data for that payoll period
