This year (2008) marks the beginning of our 19th year in private practice.  We’ve witnessed a LOT of changes over that time.  Changes in tax laws, government regulations, the economy, technology, and most importantly:  changes in what our clients want and need from us.

 

I started my own private practice for the same general reason that many small businesses get started:  I saw a growing need in the marketplace that, in my opinion, just wasn’t being addressed.  Today’s small business owners need so much more than “number-crunchers“.  Of course, they still need someone to prepare their business tax returns and “balance the books”, but that’s what I refer to as the “back end” of running a business.
